Alcohol Fuelled Violence is a symphony created using cut-ups, loops and layers of public domain classical pieces.

This album features the full symphony in two parts and then the individual pieces from the symphony.

The symphony deals with asperger syndrome, epilepsy, violence in socially deprived areas, NHS surgery, loss and atonement.

It tells the story of what happened to my brother Lee Wilkinson.

Lee Wilkinson was diagnosed with asperger syndrome but achieved BA (Hons) PG DIP while studying Government & Public Policy, and Housing Policy and Management as a mature student. He was 43 years old when he was assaulted on his way home one night.

In the week that followed the assault, fluid built up around a head injury he had sustained during the attack and the resultant pressure began triggering epileptic seizures.

He was taken into hospital for brain surgery to relieve the pressure, the initial operation didn’t resolve the problem and he suffered more seizures and underwent further brain operations.

After a series of operations his condition stabilised and he was released from hospital. For a period of time his life returned to some sort of normality.

About a year later, the seizures returned and he was found dead in the street behind his home, the coroners report was inconclusive but it was suggested that while walking home he’d suffered another seizure which had brought on a heart attack from which he died.
